A more relaxing day planned today (thank goodness!) After breakfast we took the kayaks to the lake nearby and paddled across the glassy water for an hour or so. It was so nice! Left Murwillumbah by about 9:00am in more glorious weather. Turned left instead of right out of the Showgrounds as the GPS hadn’t quite kicked in and ended up driving along the Tweed Valley Way, a hilly windy road but with lovely scenery. Departure day from Noosa (Camp Cooroora) today sadly as it has been one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at. Chatting to the manager’s wife she told us that the place is going to be bulldozed in a couple of years time to build a new dam wall. What a shame.
