Sucre, I think is the capital of Bolivia. It's also known as the White City due to the buildings all being white. As yet I have not had time to have a look around.
Today I went high up into the mountains to a village called Tarabuco . Every Sunday they have a market where all the locals go to shop. This was so colourful as most people were in traditional costumes, most people wear a hat of some sort. The market is based around a square but it's so big it spills down the narrow streets. It was absolutely fascinating. The rest of my time I spent walking around, sitting in the park with my book, and trying some of the great places to eat. You can get a dinner for less than £2 and that's with a drink. One night we go to the bar as they have a film showing - it's a French film with English sub-titles. We eat our dinner while watching the movie.

30th Sept
Tonight we take the public night bus to La Paz. We are all sitting together which is good as we have been told to look after our belongings as we could have them nicked. As it happened nothing went missing off the bus but some of our bags that went in the hold had been messed with and some things were missing. I was lucky mine was ok.
