Well had another day wandering Hanoi. Visited the Temple of Literature today was Vietnam's first university! Was really peaceful although not really a lot there now other than some courtyards and a new museum that was built around 2000. Managed to write some postcard there though so expect them soon!!

After wandering there was starving so headed to find lunch which turned out to be incredibly difficult! Ended up at KFC (how cultural I know) but after ordering saw one of the couples I was on THAT bus journey with! Is really weird here as although city is huge with millions of people we keep bumping into each other as it happened last night too!! Also got talking to a Swedish guy too who offered me the chance to go to Cambodia with him but have decided to travel rest of the Vietnamese Coast with Carmel (who is travelling herself and in my hostel) and then fly to Kuala Lumpur (Air Asia are doing cheap flights at the moment haha).

This afternoon I wandered around the Old Quarter until I got so lost I wasnt even sure I was still in Hanoi! haha. So got tuk-tuk to take me back to Hoam Keim Lake (Its liek a abckpackers landmark haha) and was parched so ended up sipping on an Red Sunrise which was Italian soda mixed with peach, lime and strawberry syrups all toped with whipped cream! Yummmy. feeling revitalised after my sugar burst Igot my map out and made my way back to hostel all by myself! was very very impressed with myself!! haha

After chatting to Carmel tonight (she is now of to Sapa for few days before we head off) and wandering around all day I am pretty tired so think will spend rest of night lazying around hostel in movie room!

Plans all along only really took me up until I reached Vietnam and now am hear had to think of what was next! So have constructed a semi-plan that involves taking in more of Vietnam then Kuala Lumpur is now definitely happening and then train to Singapore! Am now very excited about next part now!
