hello everybody, hope yous are all good, havent written anything in ages but now your gonna get bombarded with spam. well i finally finished work on fri. woo hoo! am so chuffed. this means my travelling starts now. went out to japanese bbq on fri night to celebrate n had drinks in the belgian beer cafe. then on sun i picked up laura n natalie from the airport so having been doing the whole touristy thing with them. i finally climbed the bridge. was totally s***ty a brick. guy made me go at the front cos i was scared of heights. lol! but i was fine once we got onto the arch. climbing up the ladders between 2 lanes of traffic was pretty scary for me. but the view from the top was pretty amazing! the whole thing took 3 hours but its one of those things i could only do once. i got pics but cant put them on as ive left them in sydney.
on wed we booked onto a tour in the blue mountains. firstly stopping at olympic park for pics and then we headed up into the mountains. the trees arent blue, the mountains look blue cos of the way the light hits the eucalyptus oil coming off the trees. so the city from the mountains actually looked blue too. was really interesting, the guy took us to see wild kangaroos got about 2m from them a few of the girls were pregnant but never got to see any lil joeys popping out the pouches. unfortunately. then we went to wentworth falls which is a lil town on the top of the mountains for a view accross the valley. totally beathtaking view and apparently in a darkness video. from there we went down into the valley for a bush walk which was pretty cool. then it was off to katoomba for lunch. and we got to see the 3 sisters. not as exciting as i thot it was gonna be. it was absolutely freezing. then we went around the valley to another spot where we did a bush walk down and could see the katoomba falls. from there we got back up via the worlds steepest railway. it was 52degrees. again i was s***ting a brick. there was a cage over the top so you couldnt fall out. was pretty scary. but im quite proud of myself for going on it. didnt have the balls to go on the glass bottom cable car. then from that we went home. was a really good day but tiring. then i had to spend the rest of my night packing up all my room. i cant beleive the amount of stuff ive accumulated since i got here. its crazy, have 5 boxed left in the house to pick up when i get back.
