Bonza weekend in Bruges Belgium! We left Amsterdam and had a great train trip down to Bruges. We saw lots of windmills and miles of greenhouses outside Rotterdam. We had to change trains twice, so we're getting pretty good at train travel now. Bruges is a pretty city that had it's hey-day in the 13th century as a center of the herring trade. After a good night's sleep and jet-lag behind us, we set off for a "tick the tourist boxes" day in Brussels. For starters, we had coffee and waffles on the Grand Place. At long last we've made it back to Europe. Last time here I was 16, so it's been a year or two.
