Day 1: the Shacks- a magnificent flight over Mt Coot-tha and then over to the coast. From there we flew costal to Hollins Bay to stay with out dear friends Jane and Simon. Arthur will be reflying a survey of the Mitchell Palmer Rivers & Kowanyama wetlands with his Cape York Mate Viv, which they last completed with Arthur's dad 25 years ago. We will stay with Viv in Kow for a few days before continuing across the Gulf to survey airfields along the coast & Islands from Borroloola through Arnhem Land to Daly River NT for a dugong survey later in the year with both aircraft.
