Tim Godsmark had organised the British contingent of 4 BMW and a Landrover. He was well travelled and rode like a demon at times. We camped by this lake that was reputed to be the coldest place in Western Mongolia. At -57 deg it is probably one of the coldest in the world. Our stay was pleasant enough for a swim, a well earned wash and a rest.
