Just a quick hello from Bilbao! We had a long drive from Lisbon but it was definitely worth it. We have decided to spend the one day by going to the Guggenheim art museum. After spending a little time at the museum we will head off to Bordeaux for a little camping and vineyards!

Buenos dias from Seville! We are waking up slowly after a late night of flamenco dancing. Later this morning we are heading west to the beaches of Algarve and our next country, Portugal. We made it to Seville in great time! No extra round abouts, u-turns or missed exits. While I'd like to attribute the success to us, it really is amazing how smoothly a car trip can go in a foreign country when the GPS recognizes your hotel. We have officially left the bubble of all that is familiar. While in Barcelona I felt like we might just be on a summer vacation. A week long trip to Europe, like other sane families take, rather than the kick off of our crazy year. Ah the charms and tribulations of driving through Europe. First off, doing a long-term lease was quite easy to do and recommended given the amount of time we needed a car.
