Well we have finally arrived . We are here in South Wales for our first housesit of the year . The 10 days leading up to this adventure has been a story in itself especially as Nigels' knees decided he couldnt take any weight on them the day we were due to finish moving out of the house in Brixham. As a result we had to call in the troops to help and wonderful amazing friends came over and helped get us out of a very big hole and we are eternally grateful to Hazel, Stephen , Bev and Andy for all their help .

We arrived last night at 5pm in South Wales and had a look round the area before making our way to a beautiful , 3 bedroom detached house by the river in a village near Bridgend . The owners are lovely and we were introduced to the new addition to the family since we first met them a month ago ,A very lively and rambuncious, english bull terrier puppy named Thud. The other two residents we had met on an earlier occasion a very cuddly rotweiller called Roxy and a lovely black and white cat called Stuffing. All greeted us with lots of tail wags , licks etc showing their approval .

We then spent a couple of hours being told all about the animals routines , what was what with the house and where everything was and we were really made to feel at home . Finally we were treated to a gorgeuos meal and glass of wine and beer which finished the evening off wonderfully.
