Since our last update we have arrived in Ko Samui.

Krabi was ok but not really much to do, lucky we were only staying one night.. We went for a walk round the town and the food night market although we weren't brave enough to try anything from the stalls! On our way back to the hotel we came across an icecream parlour - we couldn't resist and our eyes were bigger than our bellies! We'll upload pics as soon as we can.

We got numerous buses and a boat to Ko Samui on Thursday, it was a long journey, arrived about 4. Got a room and went for a wonder round. We had dinner in a backpacker place and even tried the curry which actually was nice for only 1.20!

Friday we went to the Marine National Park via boat. We had to get in long tail boats with our day bags and these took us to the coast, we had to jump in the water which was about chest hight and we were so worried about our bags getting wet as they had all our important stuff in including our passports! Some people had suitcases though so we didn't feel too bad! We went kayaking, was great fun but really tiring - we are building up our arm muscles that's for sure!! Got back on the big boat and had lunch and then sailed round to a lagoon where again we had to get on a long tail boat to take us to shore. We walked to a viewpoint which was pretty. Then we tried snorkelling!!! Yes- really!! Came back and went out for cocktails and dessert - such a hard day!

Today we got up and have been on a tour round the island. We have seen Big Budda, Grandmother and Grandfather rocks, a monkey show, a mummified monk, Jao Mae Kuan Im, another viewpoint, Namuang Fall and Nathon Town.

We are now heading off to sort out our laundery - it's not all glamourous!!
