I don't usually write something everyday and I'm no Brett Campbell - this is no comedy hour but I had to this time. Isabella and I chanced a view of about a dozen kangaroos not to far from camp. On her advice of 'let's follow them' running cross country we ended up only about 10 meters from them if that. Then when they'd all gone we spotted a baby one who ended up jumping towards us. I whispered to Isabella to be quiet and stay very still and it ended up going right past us by about 3 meters!! It was amazing. I didn't have my phone and as awesome as the Roos being that close were - especially Joey - her face at it jumping by so close was even more amazing!! Also today u caught a fish - mmm hmm - on Isabella's rod and then hubby had to beat me!! He was so determined and pretty sure he kicked my ass!!! Also a surprise for the kids before bedtime. Sitting around the fire playing games (laughing at Ethan!! Where does he get it from?!?) we heard a weird noise. Matt investigating and found a koala! First one he's seen! Kids were pretty wrapped - so were we!!! Unbelievable day
