The rehabilitation centre I'll be working in 5 days a week is called SANCCOB, also located in Table View. A non-profit organization dedicated to conserving seabirds, especially threatened species like the African penguin. They've treated over 90,000 seabirds since they opened in 1968 and currently have a record 570 rescued penguin chicks needing care and attention..can't wait to get my hands on them! :-)
