After a morning bus tour of Madrid, we took a drive out to Segovia. This is an ancient little place that was conquered by the Romans in 80 BC. It is surrounded by this massive wall that you can see in the photo. It comprises of a multitude of these little streets that the locals somehow manage to squeeze their vehicles down. Hola, from Madrid, Spain. After an exruciatingly nerveracking drive thorugh the streets and roads of Madrid is was great to finally find a car park and a bed to rest on. 2 nights were spent in Madrid and we enjoyed the fine cuisine that the city had to offer and also took in some of the historic sites and local shops.
