Note: written Thursday afternoon:

Yawn. I'm warming up in a place called Espresso House, in a part of Copenhagen called Norreport. Coffee shops Everywhere! I'm pretty crazy tired and yawning. I stick out here, and not just because I'm wearing a backpack and pulling a wheeled carry on. It's the clothes! I'm wearing a tan colored warm coat and everyone else is in grey/black. My eyes keep closing as I write.

Later: My friend Jan met me there and we walked to his apartment. Bicycles are a way of life here. No Lycra and race bike crouches--just everyday clothing with high handlebars and upright riding positions. Smart. I'll dig up a pic or two from the walk. Wasn't taking many 'cause it was so cold and I had my backpack plus rolling bag.
