The one with the tubes...

Vang Vieng is a boiling pot of friends re-runs and tuna sandwiches, and never has an Asia town accommodated the traveller like this one. Bar after bar after guesthouse after bar... All advertising tubing on the Vang Vieng!!!

Has Vang vieng lost its soul? Yes. But it's still so much fun (we stayed 5 nights), and the locals are cashing in big time.

In brief: a day at the blue lagoon swimming, jumping off trees ( Jo jumped off a very big tree!) And flashing in cavey darkness. Tubing on the Vang Vieng obviously. Many an episode of friends. Many a tuna sandwich. And a fair few beers.

I literally got the t-shirt...
