Happy birthday to me!!!!! Another travelling birthday, this time on a 2 hour car journey rather than boats between Thai islands.

On arriving on the village, and eventually finding our apartment ran by the ever chatty and gracious Costa, the first job, was to get the fire ablazing. Within half an hour, the flat was toasty warm and we were settled into the sofa with a brew!

My birthday treat, and unexpected surprise was a trip to the hottest natural thermal spa in Europe for a nice toasty soak in the nippy Bulgarian afternoon air. The spa visiting afternoon turned into a regular afternoon occurrence, with the excuse being the fog made trekking to the seven lakes too dangerous and, it was 2 quid each for heavens sake!

Costa's home made (home expressed) yogurt and home made blackcurrant jam was Bryn's first introduction to another stupid Chetwoodism...Purps-pink! Poor boy is deluded enough to still want to marry into the Chetwood family.

2 weeks left as occupational travellers, and before catch up cuddles with the family and friends! Whoop!
