We are on our way after many weeks of planning. Left Glen Waverley around 9.00. It was a beautiful sunny morning but by the time we hit the Eastern Freeway fog was rolling in and the further we went the thicker it became until around Seymour when we drove out of it.
Fairly uneventful trip. Stops for fuel and the obligatory pie for lunch in Tocumwal. At this time of the year the only fruit we have seen is citrus and some cotton bales.
We decided to head for Griffith as it was to early to stop in Jerilderie for the night. Lake Wyangan just north of Griffith is our over night stop, a cup of coffee and a walk around the area stopping to chat with other campers.
Just on dusk there was a beatiful rainbow a double one but by the time I got my camera the outer one had disappeared. (Photo is view from our caravan)
An early night is in order after busy week last week.
