Day Eight~ Friday 20th~ Location four

Wake up at 4:00am for a 4:15am pickup from the hotel for an entire day of Fraser Island 4WD Eco Day Trip. The boys will spend the day at beautiful Fraser Island on a guided 4WD eco tour from the Gold Coast. Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world; the boys will walk along the sandy beaches and through unique rainforests. They will swim in the incredible freshwater lakes and come across some of the animals in their natural habitat. They will experience a real Aussie BBQ lunch with beverages (all included with deal)

The trip includes:

- Guided 4WD touring of Fraser Island

- Swim in the sensational waters of the island

- Hotel pick up and drop off

- BBQ lunch (beverages included)

- Morning and afternoon tea

The tour is a great opportunity for people to experience Fraser Island in a short amount of time. Although it does not go for a long time period you still get to experience all that the Island has to offer with its natural beauty and tremendous surroundings. The tour goes for 14 and half hours, leaving the boys to get dropped of at the hotel at around 7pm.

Location 4: Fraser Island

Climate: The Climate at Fraser Island is 19-26 degrees celcius for the autumn season. The rainfall ranges from 210mm to 14mm in April.

Landforms: Fraser Island is a landform itself, its Australia's largest sand island.

Flora and Fauna: Fraser Island is home to 25 species of animals; Fraser Island has the purest breed of dingoes in Eastern Australia. One of the brazen creatures is the goanna; other species such as wallaby's, possums, flying foxes and echidna's roam the island. The more dominant trees on the island are Fraser Island satinay and brush box. Some plants are: Primrose Wattle, Coastal Banksia and Cyprus Pine.
