So we've finally arrived in Oz, when we left home this day seemed so far away now it's finally here! We spent our time in Melbourne relaxing and we picked up an addition by the name of Ash so his jet lag was a good excuse for us to have a lazy couple of days wandering around town! We stayed in a lovely hostel owned by a Swedish guy who gave us some great advice on how to drive to Sydney through the Australian Alps and went out of his way to photocopy maps for us and plan our route so we owe a lot of thanks to him! We picked up our car, no banger for us we've got a brand new Toyota with only 5k's on the clock, not bad and easy to drive for Olof! We did go down to St Kilda beach which was really nice and watched the kite surfers!
