Really jealous now as you're visiting places I've wanted to - especially Udaipur, saw it on Jewel in the Crown! Loved the pics, especially your forehead. Glad to see you managed THE Taj Mahal photo. x

I was recently reading a history of the Raj which suggested that India was a country that people either totally loved and became absorbed by or totally hated and loathed their time there. Your blog is sounding as though you are in the first group.
Jane and I look forward to each installment of your excellent adventure.

So much has happened in your first week in India. It must feel exciting when you've got so long ahead.

Enjoyed your first blog post. Jane and I have had the Lonely Planet guide out to live your trip vicariously! Our copy gave big warnings about these fake 'tourist offices' in Delhi - clearly a well known scam there - glad you managed to avoid it.
Looking forward to seeing your pictures.
Enjoy Agra and the delights of the Indian railway system.
