First call today was to get to an ATM for a cash injection. Check out of our guest house and head to breakfast to meet the crew before our slow boat south to Muang Ngoi. Up at 5am for the bus and not even bothered; we're top backpackers now, and get excited for every journey and every destination lol! The unknown is exhilarating! The bus took 5 hours to our days' final destination costing only $11 for both. Today started with a 7am alarm clock, the first alarm clock I think we've set since we got here, 9 days ago! Awoken to the sunlight and misty views from the window and it was clear we were in another word from Hanoi. Rice paddy fields and little wooden huts and children making their way to school. Out of the train at 7 to grab a fresh hot baguette and a mini bus to Sapa.
