Eagerly up early this morning to see the monkeys. It only took a two minute walk and we found some swinging from the electricity cables, eating anything they could get their hands on and fighting with one another. Today was a hot and sticky travel day. We started on a 20 minute Tuk-Tuk, then an hour and a half coach from New Sukhothai to Phitsanulok. 9.30am at the bus depot, in Phitsanulok, we made the (what turned out to be fatal) decision to get breakfast; spicy thai sausage for me, and a more healthy option of a whole pineapple for Siobh. Out the door at 6am for our 7am bus to Sukhothai. Breakfast of croissant and banana cake was waffled down in the first hour of 5, on our way to Sukhothai. Today was a simple yet pleasant day. We started with a nice croissant breakfast from a little bakery we had found the day before.
