Simrishamn was just lovely and a walk northwards along the shore yesterday afternoon was enjoyed before walking back through the village admiring the gardens of the small houses and allotments. We took a little beer in a pavement cafe and chatted with locals about our Brexit and their problems which are similar to our big one.

Close inspection of the weather files showed there could be a small opportunity to dash round to Ystad before the wind gets up and leaving Simrishamn at 05:45 this morning we took it and as we rounded the cape it was blowing less than 10kn on the bow. We arrived in Ystad at 09:50, refuelled and settled for a cosy berth to catch up with lost sleep.
