left heathrow at 22:15 uk time, landed in greece about 2am uk time (4am greece time), i then had to wait due to my transfer being cancelled till 18:40 greece time to fly to santorini, meaning i had to stay at the airport for 14 hours reading a book. Unfortunately i only managed to get 2hours sleep since leaving the bus park (no late night for me tonight lol)

Eventually got on the flight to santorini, only took 50mins, when landed had a bit of basic airport but had to get a taxi to my hostel, taxi for about a 30min journey was only 17 euro! got my dorm met chap called cameron from the USA he is sleeping on the same bunk as me. he showed me a good 24hour bakery got some pizza (very good) now just chilling here writing this blog.

tomorrow is another day so maybe there will be another update!

Today (02/05) went for a wandered along the beach on the way back went into a bar ended up have a few drinks with guys who owned it, they offered me a job to work there with free accomomdation and food, i politely declined. went back to my room had a cahrt with dorm mates, and am going out with them tonite for a few bevvies, just letting you know the is beautiful, sunshine and blue skys all you need to relax with an ice cold beer.

(03/05) Last night ended up have a few cocktails which were very good indeed, chilled in the bar with Cameron, Rachel, Steph and Sarah. after we had our fill we went to a take away and got a gyro, whilst me and rachel waited for ours, the rest of the guys went back to the dorm. As me and rachel got ours and wandered back she asked if i wanted to go to the beach, we went to the beach and had a chat ate our gyros, we then ended up going skinny dipping and the water was like the british isles, o my god it was cold! We went back freezin cold and went to bed. Today during the day i went for a hike to ancient Thira, was hard work but got there in the end. At the top of the mountain was a whole town of ruins from B.C. i went back down and popped into the bar on the beach and had a couple of beers and a chat with the owners. went back to the room to find out Cameron had left to start his job in Thira, Ken had left and that the 3 girls were leaving this evening to get the ferry to Athens. So i am now all alone in an 8man dorm, hence why im sat here writing this. Tomorrow is the real test, i leave to go to Ios to find and start my job for the summer, wish me luck!!
