UPDATE TIME! our computers at the hostel are pretty hard to type on so i will type in all lower case, forgive me ;) heres our quick update. day 1 in paris: walked to eiffel tower, walked down the Champs Elysees, then headed back to our hostel. wow! what a s--t hole! naturally we loved it!! our room had 10 people: 2 canadians, 3 chinese, 1 italian, 4 americans. that night we watched the sunset over paris at the top of the eiffel tower. day 2 paris: davinci tour through paris. started at the ritz hotel, brief stop at the louvre, then a trip to saint sulpice cathedral (where the rosliine is in the book). We then went over to the notre dame. it was the largest catedral i had ever seen. and the gothic architecture was phenominal. we lit some candles there and said some prayers for you all. after that we toured the louvre, saw modonna of the rocks, mona lisa, the pre-classical, and the wedding feast at cana to name a few. day 3 in versailles: we headed down to versailles for a day trip. grabbed some food from the supermarche and ate it in the palaces gardens. by gardens i mean the 'central park' they have in their backyard. it was a site to see. we were supposed to take a night train to spain tonight but it was full so we are one at 7am tomorrow morniing. our hostel was full when we got back so we had to get a hotel room down the street. looks like nick and i will be cuddling up in our double bed tonight ;) cheers adam
