Other travellers had warned me to be really careful with my camera in La Paz, which in general seams to have a bit dangerous reputation. We mostly walked here after dark, but everything went well, no problem. We made couple nights 4wheel journey from the small city of Uyuni towards the world´s largest salt flats, Salar Uyuni. First had a great organic pizzas at the only luxury you can find in Uyuni, at the Minuteman´s. They say this is the highes located pizzeria in the world, anyway the pizzas were great ☺ then we were aff the road. This city was not so welcoming, at least at first. However as always, once you start talking to the locals, with what ever Spanish you can, things start getting better. Maybe it was the poverty that made the city seam depressing and harsh. Other than mine tours, there isn´t so much to see - if you´re looking for tourist atractions. We visited the local mint, which tought us lots about the history of the city, mining and how the money was produced.

Arriving in Lima, it was nice to get to a friendly Pirwa hostel. Luckily my friend Eetu happened to be there too, so he was my local guide, showing me around in this city, which sometimes can be a bit dangerous, if you don´t know where you´re going. We went to see an amazing fountain park, which was a lot cooler than I expected. Also Got to see some laid back student life and tasting some cow´s heart kebab - surprise surprise it was good!

Cuzco is a backpackers hub, with nice restaurants, markets with fresh fruits, clear mountain air and laid back general atmosphere. There´s spa´s to relax after adventures and good food if you know where to go. Gap has a Planeterra, fair tourism project here, so you can visit the house of the rising sun - a place for kids and teenager living in extreme poverty, here they get help with school work, life skills and social problems.
