All packed and champing at the bit to get going. On the road by 7am and a drive straight through to Nairobi. We arrive back at the hotel around 1:30pm. Grab all my stuff, which I almost managed to fit in my big pack, but there are the odd things I will need to manipulate into my other bag. I am sure I will get it all in somehow.
I have booked a room for half a day so I can scrub my boots, hang out some damp washing to dry properly, shower and actually put on some makeup if I am going out into the big wide world. These past weeks have felt rather surreal and now reality is barking at the back door.
Off to the airport at 9:00pm for my 11:35pm, 5 hour flight to Dubai, 5 hours on the ground and then 15 hours from Dubai to Brisbane. Yay, I'm going home!
