Hello again! Yes, I do realise that I have now gone from one extreme to the other, and it is hardly any time since I last wrote, but I thought you should all know that this awfully stressful life that I've been living over the past few weeks just got too much - so I decided to throw myself off a bridge :-) Yes, that's right, yesterday afternoon the Kiwi bus made a stop at the famous Kawarau bridge outside queenstown, and I bungyed (bungeed? bungied?)! It was an absolutely AWE-SOME (to quote our driver, Catwalk) experience, sooooo much fun! Sorry to those of you who are disappointed I didn't tell you beforehand, several people requested that I didn't say I was doing it until after I'd done it :-p
Going backwards, the trip up the Franz Josef glacier was amazing - the views were absolutely stunning and we spent all day climbing up steps in the glacier and through crevices in the blue ice. From FJ we went down to Wanaka, stopping off at Puzzling World - a completely bizarre celebration of puzzles and optical illusions, including water that flowed uphill and a room of faces which followed you wherever you went - creepy!
For those of you who are still patiently waiting for photos - I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that a very nice lady in FJ showed me how to resize the photos so they are much quicker to upload. The bad news is that I am running out of time to upload them now and am heading off on the "Bottom Bus" tomorrow, so probably wont be able to upload any for another few days :-(
Lots of love as always xxx
