Hey (the map is wrong again because I can't figure it out so don't pay attention to it!)

I'm in Krabi with Morgan at the moment and we have had the biggest day of rip offs ever! Normally we are really good and avopid all the touts to get the best deals but today we kept getting abandonned in the middle of nowhere with no choice but to go with the touts. We left oput hotel at 11am and went to get the ferry to the mainland but it was a different port and they wanted 100 baht extra than what we had paid on the way over. It was supposed to be an express boat so we din;t mind so much but then it ended up taking 4 hours instead of 3 hours on the slow boat and it was soo uncomftable! Morgan is great to travel with because when we're tired we just get the giggles and have huge laughing fits for no reason!!

When we got on the boat they took our backpacks and just put them in a huge pile at the front of the boat so when we arrived it was a mad free for all and everyone was climbing over each other to get their suff! Luckily Morgan got straight in there and managed to come out with both of our bags but I can't even lift mine!

At the port and they wanted huge amounts of money to get to Krabi which is a 2 hours drive and they siad the bus was full so we would have to sit on the floor. We just grabbed a taxi and left to find a better deal in the town. As soon as we got there they put us on a local bus to Krabi which was much cheaper but ended up taking ages and then that dropped us off in the middle of nowhere too! We refused to pay the taxi driver to take us into town and said we would hitchhike again. Don't worry Grogs it isn;t like real hitchhiking because we jump in the back of a pickup truck.

We got a lift from one guy who took us to his restuarant and then we were stuck there and had to eat the food which was completely overpriced! The family kept making us speak to their friends on the phione and trying to speak to us but we had no idea what was going on. We had to lie to them that we were staying in a hotel in town and they said they would take us there for free. The whole family came along for the ride and it was really funny. Everyone was laughing loads but we had no idea what they were saying! The wife was saying that her son is in love with me and made me give my email address! Even when they dropped us off they were driving along next to us, it was soo funny.

Luckily we managed to find a REALLY cheap room so all the money we lost from trying to bargain balanced out in the end! We are going off for a drink now after all the stress and then getting a boat to Phi Phi islands tomorrow morning which is suppsoed to be paradise islands.

Sorry for the bad spelling but I have no time to read back what I have written. I only have a few days left in Thailnad :-( so me and Morgan are going to make the most of it!
