Today I went to Australia zoo and had the best time, it is such a good zoo! It was run by Steve Irwin, the famous crocodile hunter, who died this year but you wouldn;t know it because there are pictures of him everywhere and they all constantly talk about him. They aim to let you get hands on with the animals so you love them and then want to save them from extinction.

It was so much fun, we went into the kangaroo bit and they were just wandering around for you to stroke. You could feed them as well which was good. I fed the elephants too which was really fun because you hold some fruit out and they suck it out of your hand with their trunks! I had a pro picture taken of me cuddling a koala which was the best part of the day! I loved it!

It was really expensive to go to the zoo but it was definately worth it. The journey there should have been 1 hour by train but there was a derailed train yesterday so the routes were all messed up so in the end we had to get a bus, then train, then bus, train, and train which took 4 hours in the end!! I'm totally knackered now so I'm going to laze around in the tv room for a bit and then go to bed.

We think we're going to leave Brsibane on Saturday and head further north so we can scubab dive at the great barrier reef! We need to fit in some surf lessons before christmas too. My cousin, Leanne, is supposed to be in Brisbane too so hoepfully I'll be able to get in contact with her before tomorrow and we can meet up.
