I spent two nights in Miami, staying at the Bikini Hostel... I would definitely go back to both the hostel and Miami. I had an awesome time there and met some really cool people.

The first night I just stayed at the hostel and hung around there with the people staying there too. I organised to go to the beach with one of them the next day but forgot that I hadn't changed the time zone on my phone.. so I woke up an hour late. Oops!

The second day I went to the beach and then went into a few shops, finding some really nice dresses for $10 each. Then I went back to the hostel and had the free pizza (every Tuesday) and got chatting to a guy called Nathan from the UK. Anyone that has worked or lived with me knows what I'm like with lists, presentation and the fine details.. Well, Nathan is like a male version of me in that way. We went to a gallery of Peter Lik's photography which was awesome, and then went to a bar and played pool.. which I played horrendously!

It was a really cool night and we'll definitely be staying in touch for when I'm back in the UK.

Money spent: $200 (flight cost split), $50 hostel, $40 food, clothes and transport.
