Hi all! We have just arrived in Rockhampton and going to a Crocodile Park tonight for dinner - we also get to hold some of the crocs! We've just come from the Whitsunday Islands - we had an amazing time - it is all so beautiful! We took a boat from Airlie Beach over to Long Island which was where our resort was for three nights. While we were there we went on a day sail to Whitehaven beach - one of the 10 best beaches in the world (Phil, two down - eight to go)! The sand was so white and squeaked when we walked on it, apparently because it is around ninety percent pure silicon. There was also an opportunity to go snorkelling, although the visibility was very poor, not quite as good as the Great Barrier Reef.

On Thursday we had our first day off. Phil started the morning water skiing and not only managed to get onto one ski but also start on one ski from the water! We also got a chance to go tubing - this involved lots of screaming from Nikki, although she was the only one out of the four not to fall in!

Mum (Laws) - haven't scuba dived; firstly left my PADI at home!! Also, it's quite expensive and basic, so the snorkelling was good enough. Hope you are having a great time in Devon. We're about to try and load pictures up now - wish us luck!
