We set out the next morning back into Angkor and started enthusiastically. We saw the jungle temple and another believed to have been used as a hospital to pray for healing. The jungle Temple where parts of Tomb Raider were shot was really impressive - the jungle both destroying the temple and in some places supporting it. All the temples we saw were great but we were templed out by midday so we opted to go on a river boat tour down to the Tonle Sap after lunch....

We had a shock start the next morning - we had opted for a fan room and not an expensive AC room with hot shower etc... They had kindly refrigerated our water, certainly woke us up. The trip to Siem Reap started with a lift from two of the staff at the guest house to the bus on the back of their motor bikes. They tore through the Phnom Penh rush hour traffic with fearless disregard for any other vehicle on the road. We made it though Nik swears only just, her driver being insane, and both swore we'd never take the motorbike taxi again.
