Hi All Time for a update sorry its took a while but for the last 10 days Ive been in the North of India in the Himalayas Kashmir. Well what a beutifull place that was it took 20 hours on a mini bus to get there and the road was very bumpy as it was driving through the mountains at one point the height was 5000 meters so the Altitude was a problem and made some people on the bus sick so not a pretty sight to have to sit in. I met a really nice American girl called Lyndsey and some nice Israeli guys Dan and Erez so spent time with them travelling in Leh (Himalayas) I also went on a 3 day trek that was just beutifull but the altitude again was a problem for me I managed 2 days trekking then had to give up on the 3rd day but better to be safe than sorry as there would be no help out in the Mountains if I got sick. Also went on a mountain bike ride in the mountains and it was the highest motorable road in the world at 18000 feet so as you can imagine it was a bumpy ride in the jeep to the top but the mountain bike ride down was great although it was bloody cold as it was snowing up there. Whan you get out of the citys in India to the remote places you really see that India is a very nice country with lots to see and do. Well after a 20 drive back with more people being sick all the way I was glad to get of the bus but the Mountains were even more beutifull as it had been snowing for a few days and everywhere was covered white Very picturesqe. I will upload the pictures soon I promise . Well after another 20 hour bus ride Im now in a place called Rizikesh which is a very quiet town but very spirituall lots of Yoga and Meditation places also temples and the town is on the Ganges river. I have met up with a freind who I stayed with in Jodhpur when I couch surfed as he is travelling for few weeks also now so its great we are going to travel to Delhi etc together so my last few weeks in India i will have some company great ah. The weather in the Himalayas was very cold but now here its very hot again so Im enjoying the sun. Oh I got some news this week from my Dad also I have found out that I have a half brother who is 37 he as tracked my dad down as his biological father so it was a shock but will be good to meet him when I return to England he is a hairy Biker so dont know what he will think to his camp brother ah. Anyway I better go as the Sun is shining and I need to go and get some food and top up the tan keep well all of you and speak soon.
