Coral Bay was a nice little bit of civilisation, it was good to get showers again, use a washing machine and get out of the wind a bit, we didn’t move much, just relaxed. We spent a couple nights just hanging …
At age 17 I decided it was time to travel around Australia, where I was born and have grown up. At age 32 I finally started, travelled 3000km, stopped for a while, went backward 2500km then went forward the same 2500km and stopped for another 3 years. Finally now aged 36 with a wife and our two kids in tow I'm really setting out. This will hopefully be something special in our lives and also the start of a new career for me (also decided at 17) as a professional photographer.

Kylie Ah, lovely downtown Mataranka. We lived there for two years. Beautiful part of the world, especially after rain. The people who run the supermarket in Mataranka were among the first in the NT to say no to plastic bags.
