You certainly reach some beautiful scenery although it must be chilly. We are inclined to forget it is mid-winterwhere you are. Yeah my clothes are doing the job, weathers not to bad here, just gets very cold at night. I ve got a big alpaca fleece from peru thats keeping me warm and thermal vests from jodie. Anywhere would be good for the holiday, what about the date, is it possible to go a week later than you were thinking. Friends are going to wales for a break for a bit after the big green gathering. Give me a ring sometime when you ve thought about it a bit more, would be good to sort it out though. Hope everyones good, am stuck in fox glacier, not very far from franz joseph after a dissappointing days hitching. The roads very quiet, is sunday i guess. Going to hire a bike for a ride up to the galcier i think. All my love, nick xxx

hey, sorry for being a dumb ass and not realising where you were, for some reason i assumed that cos you'd flown into aukland that was where jodies uncle lived. Sout island is great, make sure you see the glaciers properly, they're fantastic, and Wellington's a dead nice city, the Te Papa museum there was great. Queenstown had some great scenery and a good night life too. Anyway I'm sure whatever you do you'll have a brilliant time. See you soon, lots of love xxxxx

Am back on the plane going home this time. Have just really enjoyed catching up on your travels. Sounds brilliant as ever.
Manila was fascinating and I met some lovely people. Giving the talks was scarey but seemed to go ok. We went to a beautiful lake which formed in an extinct volcano.
The trip home is long and I'm tired but the service is good!
Really missed you when I read the entries. Take extra care now you are back on your own.
