After a couple of days on the main island we travelled on to an island called Nanau-i-ra. On our route to Nanau-i-ra, we met two gin, chocolate and poridge lovers (Laura and Cecilia) The day we arrived was fantastically hot and sunny, unfortunately I (Nicky) was suffering from a cold and went to sleep it off whilst ben sunbathed. The week was full of snorkeling (sea and beer versions) giant moths bad vollyball and geko poo! If being pood on by a geko is good luck, then I am extremely lucky. Unfortunately the good weather did not last and we had a few rainy days, but we still went snorkeling and kayaking. Laura and Cecilia kept us from going stir crazy when the rain kept falling, drinking games, s***head and snap kept us entertained along with the german dive instructors obsession with laura (which was not reciprocated!). The last couple of days were warmer and sunnier allowing us to top up our already fading tans. We then mentally prepared ourselves for the winter climate of New Zealand.
