My house move has gone well, and very happy to be in town - we're having the coldest Winter ever and the snow's still here.

Swimming with stingrays with your belongings on your head?!!! In the words of Captain Mainwaring, You Stupid Boy! It's a good job you had swimming lessons all those years ago, and I bet you swim a lot faster when there are stingrays in the water. Perhaps that would be a good training strategy for the Olympics. See you're almost up to the good bit - Melbourne! I loved the place. Let me know if the restaurants on Lygon Street are still good, i lived just off it. The trams are fab too...plus the shopping. In fact, i quite like the place!

Mustn't mention the "s***" word - because I know you are bored hearing about it! So just to say that to get to work I have walking boots, Dad's trekking walking stick, a rucksack, lots of layers of clothes, a "Where's Wally" stripey hat, and my Berghaus. Get the picture?!!! Waitrose is under siege with no bread, no milk, no eggs and limited quantities of everything else. Long queues at the tills - thank goodness for quick check! Still at least the staff should get a good bonus this year! Few cars on the roads, because their wheels keep skidding and they end up having to be pushed to get out of the drifts of white coloured frozen water. Never mind, I'm sure you are envious really! Yo Bro! Hows it going? I'm onto snowday number 3 tomorrow... I'm quite enjoying 2 weeks holiday, 2 days work, 5 day weekend!!! Apparently more snow is forecast on Sun and Mon, so not sure when going back to school. Only have a couple of inches in Winch, but there's over a foot at school - apparently you can't get anywhere near it!
Tried to make a snowman with the local teachers... snow has turned powdery since y'day tho, so couldn't make a very good one. I'm sorry I haven't made u a snow possom either, but I didn't have a picture to model one on! That's your next mission - find a possom to photograph!
Much as I'm enjoying time off school, I'm getting a bit bored of not being able to get out any further than Sainsburys and the pub! Ventured to the pub last night and discovered the hard way that a beer coat means you don't have to wear as many layers on the way home! It was a combination of needing the loo, walking up hill and wearing too many clothes that made me feel really faint when I got home. Needless to say no yellow snow was made and I quickly recovered and fell asleep!
Gethin's been working from home the last couple of days. He tried to walk to work in the snow last year and fell over, bruising his leg badly, so playing it safe this year!
I hope you enjoy your time on Roy's boat again this weekend! Keep hold of everyone's hats tho... Don't want to lose any this time!
Not sure what I'm gonna do tomorrow... Might try and make it into town, but won't be able to drive coz car's snowed in! Failing that, I'll make a huge batch of brownies!!!
