So today I feel like we conquered Rome! Our plan was to see mainly just the colosseum however I feel like we saw so much more. We boarded our early morning plane from Heathrow to Rome with Alitalia and literally just passed out. The plane was so comfy! Not like the normal Ryanair flights we book. What better way to start our trip then a glass of bubbly! After a lot of emotional goodbyes and months of planning we're finally sat in our hotel room ready for the final sleep before we start our adventure. We had an amazing meal with Jackie and Mark in the hotel restaurant, Smiths Grill then headed up to our room. Room service sent a rather awkward young porter to pop the cork on our prosecco.
