After passing through to Jodhpur on the way to Jaisalmer from Udaipur, Helen was adamant that we were not staying there but Nick wanted to so after Jaisalmer we made a one night stop in Jodhpur. Continuing from our last blog; We did however eventually arrive in Jaisalmer in one piece, only to find that our hotel (Mystic hotel) had given away our room as we didn't arrive at the scheduled time! After much arguing with the hotel manager and threatening to look elsewhere he gave us a upgrade for a cheaper price. We have no idea how they got top ratings on trip advisor. After deciding that we wanted to escape Ahmedabad, we headed straight to the government bus stand and got on the next bus to Udaipur. The journey was just under 6 hours. On arrival at Ahmedabad after a 10.5 hour journey, both of us slept fairly well considering but we had crooked necks!
