Happy Christmas everyone! Napier hasn't managed to turn on the sun for us but nevermind! Still have managed tennis and swimming so hey keeping in the spirit of a Southern Hemisphere christmas. Hope you all have a magic day wherever you are and that santa is kind to you all.

We have had an amazing time with all the New Zealand friends and family. We managed to pick a perfect day to take on the Tongariro Crossing - anybody visiting the Cenrtal North Island - this is a must do. It was a long day about 18km in total up and down over the Tongariro mountain. The emerald lakes were stunning and lived up to there name. It was crazy to see how many people were on the trail and how under equipped some were without even a jacket! It gets cold up on top, it's a mountain!

Leon was a great host taking us out to Waimarama and staying in the Yurt. Paua has never tasted better than straight out of the sea onto the BBQ. We owe you a dive bag!

Now the trip really starts - into the unknown, a brand new continent now and we are very excited.
