Hello all............... we made it!!!!! After 24 hours of travelling we finally made it to Rio last night. We got here about midnight and had a couple of drinks before heading off to bed. It soooooo hot here but I guess we can't complain. Today we have met some cool people from the hostel and spent the day at a beach about 10 km SW of Rio called Baha de playa. This place is absolutley amazing and so much life and culture about it. The next few days we are planning on visiting Sugar Loaf mountain, the big jesus statue and a trip to the favelas (with guides of course). This coming sunday there is Brazilian Funk party in one of the favelas. Anyways will update again soon bye for now.
