Our first stop is Delhi, on a tour with a company called imaginative travveler. Arrived without a hitch at Delhi (unfortunately we couldn't get upgraded by dropping our mates name on virgin). Were met at the airport and had a prearranged taxi to our hotel (we'd paid upfront for an extra nights stay at the hotel through STA travel, cost us 42 quid when it should really have been about 7 or 8, b*****s). the hotel was pretty nice, air con etc. went out round the block from the hotel like a reall explorer thinking i was dead good. Though i was back within around half an hour with my tail between my legs (the roads are mad) i did manage to arrange for someone to put some zips on my trouser pockets (6 zips for about 1pound 20) so flet like sir ranolf feinnes. Other than that Delhi pretty uneventfull. Basically just the starting point for the tour. Went into new Delhi but nothing too exciting there (did see a massive statue of hanuman the monkey god, also saw some parlimentary building or something.. never really been into sight seeing wich does beg the question as to why i booked a sight seeing tour?)
