Hello All,

Well since our last blog entry we have reached Laos with no real hiccups! Yay. We crossed the border in the north of Thailand and are making our way south slowly! We sailed for 2 full days down the Mekong river and after many hours and an EXTREMELY numb bum we made it to our destination, Luang Prabang! ( We had to stop over in the middle night at this random laos village..where electricity went off at 10..EVERYTHING!). People around those places must be sooo bored because we were getting offered all sorts of bloody drugs from kids as young as 15! Scary!

Anyway Luang Prabang is beautiful..it is french colonial and so the architecture is just loverly! First night we got here we all got bloody soaked because of Laos new year and people chucking water..nice!!! We had to stay in a right dive of a hotel, which had an over flowing toilet in our first room...NICE! Needless to stay this is not the kind of establishment we wish to be staying in so we moved up the scale, splashed out for 2 nights in a loverly hotel!!

Getting an early bus tomorrow and planning on doing some water sports!
