Stayed over in Glenorchy last night. On the morning we went on the electric cars 4 wheel drive around the The Delta Discovery Tour on river bed. We then headed off to the Shotover Jet ride. In Queenstown this morning and went up in the gondola to the top of the mountains. Fantastic views came down on the luge five times and back up on chairlifts. Fantastic fun and great speeds on 1 mile tracks. After this we took a walk, which was supposed to be low gradient. OMG every part of me aches this afternoon. Today we did a 10 hour trip starting at 7:45 heading for Milford Sound. The trip Incorporated rainforest walks, waterfall walks and cascades of water ending in a chasm. The weather was poor in terms of rain but apparently it is area that has the most rain in New Zealand and last year had over 10 metres of rain. Today we have arrived in Te Anau. The views on the way were spectacular as ever. High winds today and quite a bit of rain. We have now arrived at another campsite top-10 as per the last two. Coming in was lovely and there seems to be a few nice restaurants and shops around the place but we are waiting to see if the rain gives over a little before walking into town which is just 10 minutes away.
