Lazy day today after our long drive. Eventually went out to explore. Walked up Duvell Street which is packed with restaurants, bars & drag shows. Mix of classy and tacky. Malory Square was disappointing apparently it comes alive at night. Happy hour at Allonsa's great cocktails at Hoggs Breath then dancing T Sloppy Joes.

Big day today!! Picked up rental Mustang soft top. After getting used to an automatic got on our way to Everglades. Airboat trip with River of Grass which was fantastic. Steve was very knowledgeable about the wildlife. Saw grown alligators and tiny baby ones, young heron in their nest. Then back on road to Ocean Highway and Key West. Apartment really cool Casa la dolce vita, very colourful and lots of light switches! Out for supplies, beer (Key west Sunset Ale)...

Day 7 Trolley bus to Little Havana, didn't think there was much going on until we got to the Ball and Chain bar. Great cocktails, live music - imagine it has a great vibe at night. Back on trolley bus to Bayfront Park for a wonder, couple of amphitheater and a shopping mall. Little trip on the Monomover (also free) the back to hotel for a few drinks in the bar.

Day 6. Got free trolley bus to Wynwood Walls in the Design District. Lots of warehouses covered in art grafetti. Cool! Had a drink at the Wynwood Diner - recommend. Few drinks in the hotel bar, some of us had too many!!!!

Day 5. Got Uber taxi (liking Uber, takes away hassle) to downtown Miami to Epic hotel - lovely room with view down Miami river. Went for a walk down the river. Took advantage of free wine in the foyer, it would be rude not to!!
