So it's our last full day in Tahiti before we head back to NZ!!
The past couple of days have been great, we have snorkelled, kayaked out to a massive reef and saw some incredible fish and a rather large sting ray, we scootered around the whole island (62km total) and taught ourselves to stand up paddle board. (Blake I'll give you free lessons if your nice)
We have caught up on a lot of sleep that went missing around week 1 of Europe, read a couple of books, enjoyed happy hour and got our tan on!!
Tahiti has been a fantastic place to end our 6 weeks of adventure!! Despite having an amazing 6 week honeymoon and experiencing several countries, cultures and food we are looking forward to coming home. Being away makes you appreciate the small things your amazing home life has to offer - free tap water, not paying to use the bathroom, not relying on public transport or walking 8km coz it's just easier than trying to figure out the metro, being able to play sport, having a personal trainer that is nicer than Europe and not making us do 45 days straight of leg day, but mainly our amazing friends and family and careers to get home too. I for one can't wait to start my new job (imagine not being on call 24/7 anymore) and I know Chris will be happy to be back on the farm.
Hopefully those of you who have been keeping up with us as we made our way around have enjoyed reading about our journey. We are Looking forward to seeing you all once were home xxx
