I have at last managed to sit down again and look at the things you are both up to. I am so pleased that everything has gone so well for you Neil. I have looked at the wonderful photographs you have sent to Dad and Chris and can see that you are having an exciting time, I am also glad that you have stayed safe without any problems. The weather looks very nice, much warmer than we have been experiencing, today has been a much better day, I hope the snow has disappeared for good. I am sure that you are both going to enjoy the next few weeks together having fun and catching up on everything. I hope everything you have planned takes place and that you can keep sending the photographs so that I can keep up with your adventures. Take care of yourselves, lots of love Grandma

Now then,
Where are these blog updates Mr. Stinson...
How is Sydney, what have you and Greg been doing since your arrival??
4,000miles in a month, that is some good going... takes me about 9months to do that on my bike haha. A shame you never got to go out for a sail in Singapore, but I guess it might be a good reason to call back in there someday. But it was really nice of the that couple to invite you around for food, I bet it was a nice change. What is all this chat about you sliding down mountains, is this some code for a dodgy moped ride...?? Oh I've been meaning to ask how is that checked shirt that mam and dad got you holding up hehe??
The weather is slowly getting better here, I think the snow has gone for good this year and spring is finally breaking through. My race was cancelled last weekend, due to the weather... I think it was a pretty poor excuse! But no dramas, I'll just keep plugging away till the next one. Charley's brother and I have organised an Easter training camp in the lakes for 5days... first taste of open water swimming. It's going to be bloody cold.
Travel safe mate, take care.
Chris
No problems opening up the link for the photos. Thanks for sending them, they are great. Really enjoyed looking at them. Was getting excited about a three course meal at Hodge's though.Lots of love xx
Dad
Neil it was really good to have a chat with you and Greg on Sunday, you can chill out now for a couple of months in a fantastic country, you've even got your own tour guide ! Last week was exhausting at school as we were Ofsted inspected, however the outcome was that we were an outstanding school. I can now look forward to the rest of the year, roll on Easter we are going to relax in the Lakes. I won't use Facebook because of the links it may have to other sites and that compromises my position at school, however Chris and I will check our emails and take a look at the photos. I hope you use the areas around Sydney to do some running, especially now you are with Greg. It is great news that we are all able to do the Great North Run, it should be fun. Hope the problems in Chile are not going to upset the travel plans. Are you thinking of going up to Brisbane to see Norman and Julia, if so I will drop them an email. I'll sign off for now and keep you up to date on the Boro by text. Enjoy a few beers down at the Rocks with Greg. Take care, glad everything is going well, cheers Dad.

So can i put down the pizza menu now?
Neil
...2nd thoughts...I've emailed the links to my Facebook photos to Dad, Chris, Dessie. Let me know if any probs opening them
Neil
Hi there folks - still catching up with the blogs, but I will get there as I have time now that I'm in Sydney with Greg. The platform for uploading photos on my blog is not very good to say the least. It's ridiculously slow and keeps crashing, which is why there are only 3 photos on my site.
I've put the photos on my Facebook so you can see them on there. For those of you who don't have access to them - maybe Adam you can show your mam and dad; Dad and Chris - maybe you could pop round and see Hodge and I'm sure he'd be happy to cook you a nice 3 course meal and let you see them at the same time! *Hodge picks up Pizza shop menu*
Kimmy - great to hear you and Chloe are doing well. Can't wait to see some more piccies. I might wait until the new season for the new baby girl Boro shirt to come out. Hope that's ok with you and Ben. Hehe - lots of love xx
Kimmy
Hi. Been a while since i last caught up with your blog.. Chloe getting me up at 5am today does have its up points! Just a shame she's now fast asleep on my knee and im waiting for Ben's shift to start at 7am (He gets to do the feeding now i've stopped her crying!)
Hope you're now settled in with Greg and enjoy a diet of more than just sticky rice!
We've got details of Chlo's Christening so will get Ben to text you.. my only request is you don't wear a white suit and shirt to show off your tan next to the pale Seniors!
Missing you, Lots of Love Kim (& sleepy Chloe!) X

Now then, I can't believe how fast time has gone by. It just seems like yesterday since we were chatting about which rucksacks you were taking. Speaking of which how is the luggage situation going, on your day trips are you leaving your main bag somewhere and just taking the OMM?
I bet you're looking forward to landing in Sydney and catching up with Greg. I'm sure the next few months will be fantastic and you guys will have a great time!
I have my first race at the weekend, not sure if I'll even make it around, as "average race speed" will about 27mph... I'll keep you updated on how I get on.
Chris
Hi Neil, what a brilliant blog I have just read. It sounds absolutely amazing. Will have to get John sorted to travel to Thailand! Glad everything is going well. Enjoy Singapore and then the trip to Sydney. John is working all the hours he can at the moment, as he got the phonecall yesterday from those lovely people at OFSTED!! They are in his school all Wednesday and Thursday. Roll on Friday and the weekend is all I can say! Hopefully we can speak when you get to Greg's. Take care Neil. Lots of love xx
