The toughest 3 1/2 weeks of our travels were in Melbourne and although we were here for so long we didnt really see too much or do too much for 2 reasons. The first reason was that we knew mom and dad would be meeting us here and we would be ssing things with them and second because we needed to stop spending or earn money. It was a shame as this was a lovely city and infact one of our favourites.
We spent most of the time in the hostel and using the internet to apply for jobs which always left us disheartened.
During this time we walked a lot of the city checking out the sights and getting familair with the place. Vic and Matt (from Cairns) for her birthday and spent the day in her home with her family. They cooked us a fantastic meal and we had a great catch up. We also met up with our friend Rafael (from Cairns) for the day which was great. Other than that there wasn't much else, although we did eat noodles more or less every day! :)
Finally our luck came in when I saw an advert on the notice board for people needed at a YHA on Phillip Island. This work would be in exchange for accommodation and food. I called and Geoff told us he would love to have us and to get there when we could...was it all too good to be true like the Caboolture incident............
....so the next day we were on another bus making our way to Amaroo Park, Phillip Island!
Finally our luck
