Normal 0 We watched a movie and then decided to venture into the old town. We had lunch as it started to rain and sheltered until it stopped! It was nice, very pretty, but all the roads had the same shops and sold exactly the same things. We walked down the bottom to the river that had lots of pretty old boats on it and women in their pointed hats offering to take you on river trips in their row boats. we decided against it, the river was brown and didnt look that nice! We walked over the Japanese bridge and passed the ceramics centre which looked cool but we could see it all from the outside so didnt need to go in! It was really humid by this point so we decided to go get tone a beer and me some water in a really nice bar called the Salsa bar. I saw Lena had written on my facebook telling me they were here and to find them that evening so we decided after more exploring we'd do that. We went to the Then and Now bar for dinner and it was good food and fast service and then headed off to find their hotel. As per usual we got lost and took us an hour to fiund their hotel in which time theyd gone. So we played pool and had a couple of drinks. We decided we wouldnt find them so we d go back to the same place we had dinner. There was a massive crowd of people coming up the road and i could see janus!! we found them and they were all headed to a beach party so we tagged along. 22 of us squeezed in to a 10 people van and we were off! The bar was really nice and drinks were cheap so we all drank, danced, played games and chatted. I saw Jenny who was on the bus with us in Ha Long bay and she had found Tone's camera and had seen that we were coming here and brought it for us!! How cool is that!! We then took our drink to the beach and drank there. It was only lit by the moon, it was so beautiful. Everyone was stripping and jumping in the sea but there was no way I was gonna do that with the size of the waves. It was a really good night but eventually time to leave. Me and Tony got on a moto with one man and Jenny, a guy and their moto man on another! We had to get off, walk over a bridge and then get back on as the police were there and that's what they wanted us to do! Random!! A really good day and a good night!! I love Vietnam!
